2008 was Rhythm 'n QUE's
first full season on the competition circuit, and what a
wild ride it was! Our first GC, our first trip to the
Jack -- it was, truly, a "dream season".
RnQ finished out the 2008
competition season with 3 Grand Championships (Modesto CA,
Durango CO and Viejas/Alpine CA), and one Reserve Grand
Championship (Taylor AZ). Over the course of 13 competitions
in six states, the team racked up 12 top-ten finishes, with
9 of those being in the top four. These results earned the
team a rank of 20th overall in the nation by The Pickled
Pig, and 25th in the nation overall by the Kansas City
Barbecue Society.
